How to use your internet connection for something other than Googling and abusing Facebook...
Sell your stuff
Most of us have a box or two (at least) of unused items sitting at home, so why not claim back some living space and make some cash by auctioning these off online?
This region doesn't have any official eBay sites as yet, however souq.com has stepped forward in the last couple of years to fill that gap very adequately, offering very similar functionality to eBay plus often as not free shipping to users in the UAE, Jordan and now also KSA.
Recommended
Log onto souq.com, sign-up for an account, and then get started selling.
Be sure to include one decent photograph or more of any items you're selling, as you'll get more hits this way, and be sure to choose a Reserve Price if you're picky about how much money you want for a particular piece.
In addition, and as with eBay, the key to users trusting and therefore buying from you is your seller rating. This shows the number of buyers you've sold to, and it also features a star that classifies you - as a ‘very good seller' for instance). For good feedback, answer e-mails from buyers promptly and always be polite.
