SAS website launched

by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer  on Sunday, 04 November 2007

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has launched www.sassalesinfo.com - a dedicated UAE travel trade website providing round-the-clock information on the airline's fares, products and services.

The move comes as SAS prepares to commence its thrice-weekly non-stop flight from Dubai to the Danish capital Copenhagen on November 1.

The site offers news and information on the SAS online check-in facility, details on the airline's customer loyalty programme EuroBonus, the latest updates on tariffs, as well as deals on the new route.

"This dedicated website is a powerful portal which will help our travel partners serve their customers better as it provides real-time support throughout the booking process," said SAS UAE general manager Magnus Engstrom.

Registered travel agents will also have access to a range of additional benefits including cross marketing opportunities, competitions and promotions.

The new Dubai-Copenhagen service will operate every Monday, Thursday and Sunday. Meanwhile SAS recently announced enhancements to its business class product to include a last-minute ‘A' class business cabin fare, a new comfort kit, upgraded audio-visual on-demand (AVOD) and a ‘breakfast on-the-go' concept.

An ‘A' class ticket is designed for business travellers that have to make last minute travel decisions available right up until departure and guarantees passengers a seat in business class.
