Prolyte to host stage rigging course

Staging events company Prolyte Middle East will team with rigging specialist Rhino Rigs to host a five-day professional training course for stage technicians in Dubai from 25 to 29 November.

The course, which aims to meet the growing demand for specialised training services in the live events sector, will cover a variety of basic rigging techniques and provide practical knowledge of the latest stage rigging technologies.

Subjects covered by the training programme will include staging risk assessment, rigging basics, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), hoist technology and controllers,. It will also include practical workshops focusing on the latest trussing technologies.

The programme will culminate with an exam on the final day, providing participants with an opportunity to test the knowledge acquired over the previous four days.
