by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer  on Wednesday, 07 November 2007
Jeehan Abdul Qader is executive director of AACS Dubai.

The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery Hospital (AACSH) has opened a branch at Dubai Healthcare City. The move coincided with the first ‘World Congress on Liposuction Surgery and Advances in Cosmetic Surgery in the UAE', which was held on October 29 -31 at the Grand Hyatt Dubai.

The AACS Hospital will offer a range of services, including the AACSH Educational Centre, which will offer accredited surgical and non-surgical workshops affiliated to the AACS. The workshops aim to improve physicians' skillsets as well as educate the public about cosmetic surgery. "We are indeed honoured to announce the launch of the AACS Hospital a day before the ‘World Congress on Liposuction Surgery and Advances in Cosmetic Surgery in the UAE' in Dubai," said executive director of the AACS Hospital, Jeehan Abdul Qader MD.

"This is an international event that brings together surgeons from around the world to share their expertise and best practices in cosmetic surgery and we are aiming to host this congress again in the future. In addition, we are proud to open our facility at DHCC, the world's first healthcare free zone that already hosts a number of renowned service providers."
