Dewalt unleashes its cutting-edge equipment

by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer  on Saturday, 17 November 2007
Hopefully biting into the market: Dewalt’s latest equipment includes the DW745 Table Saw.

Industrial power tool manufacturer, Dewalt, has introduced its latest products - the DW745 Table Saw, and DE7450 Heavy Duty Stand.

The saw has been designed for carpenters, floor layers, fitters and roofers. To achieve this, the company focused on six key areas - accuracy, lightweight design, power, capacity, durability and ease-of-use.

There is a steel roll cage, which protects the saw against jobsite drops and other impacts, creating a durable saw suitable for a variety of applications in the construction and workshop environments.

Safety features include a cast tabletop design, ensuring precision, the Rack and Pinion system with a front and rear fence lock and a clearly marked measurement scale. According to the company, user safety and comfort are enhanced through focus on dust management and full guarding to the latest European standards.

The saw can be easily carried around and the compactness delivered by the optimised footprint allows easy storage for transportation by a single person, with a total weight of 22kg.

The DE7450 Heavy Duty stand that can be used with the saw is said to offer versatility, with detachable leg extensions for different saw heights, in conjunction with a collapsible form for easy transportation.
