APID Glams up for Gala Evening

After the success of the Commercial Interior Design Awards earlier this month, regional interior designers are gearing up once again to enjoy an evening of networking with the inaugural APID (Association of Professional Interior Designers) annual gala dinner to be held on the 29^th November.

This event is designed to raise the profile of the interior design community prior to the Association's flagship PIDC conference next April. APID is currently enjoying its new status as an associate member of the IFI at last month's summit in Korea and this new appointment has made the design community sit up and realise the importance of its existence in the GCC.

The guest speaker at next week's gala dinner is Elmar Schuller, vice president of the Red Dot design competition, who will be speaking on a range of design-related issues and the history and importance of the Red Dot prize within such a fast-paced industry. The event is jointly sponsored by Purity LLC and Federal Technologies of Abu Dhabi.
