Softouch, the Ayurveda spa specialist, is set to embark on further hotel spa developments, including two new sites planned for the UAE.
Dr V L Shyam, a regional director for Softouch and Director of Softouch Spa at Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, said the brand was going to keep growing in Dubai, although details of locations couldn't be confirmed.
Softouch was founded in Kerala, India, 10 years ago and first entered the UAE as part of the Kempinski Hotel Ajman in 2001.
There are now four Softouch spas in the UAE, with an Ayurvedic centre at Le Meridien Al-Aqah Resort in Fujairah and a new facility at Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Resort & Spa in addition to the Ajman and Dubai spas.
There are 19 Softouch spas worldwide, attracting around 140,000 guests a year in total.
