What is Big 5?
The Big 5 is the largest trade show for the construction industry in the Arabian with bringing together seven major exhibitions under one roof, featuring more than 2,000 companies from 67 countries and drawing over 40,000 visitors.

Who is attending Big 5?
The Big 5 features exhibitions from leading companies in the fields of building and construction, water technology and environment, cleaning and maintenance, marble and stone, glass and metal, bathrooms and ceramics and air conditioning and refrigeration.

The Big 5 PMV will feature an impressive international exhibitor line up that includes Al Bahar (Caterpillar), Terex Equipment Middle East (Genie Industries Tele handlers), Imer Group as well as other big name suppliers and service providers from the global construction sector.

Why is Big 5 taking place?
The construction boom in the Emirates and the broader Middle East has brought unprecedented interest to the region as companies clamor to get a piece of the action.

As the pace of construction continues to gather even more speed, the market for plant, machinery, vehicles and equipment is also growing, with industry estimates forecasting an increase of up to 20% over the next five years as the region realises its ambitious program of projects and developments.

“Over 2,100 existing and planned projects, valued at $1.2 trillion, are already underway in the GCC, and investment will rise even further as the countries of the Middle East continue with their essential infrastructure development and expansion plans,” said Bernard Walsh, Managing Director of dmg world media Dubai, organisers of the event.

The Big 5 trade show aims to bring together leading businesses in the construction industry with commercial enterprises.

Open between 11:00am and 8:00pm daily from November 25 to November 29, 2007

How can I register to visit Big 5?
The Big 5 exhibition is restricted to trade and professional visitors only, who are able to register with the presentation of their business card. Admission is free for such visitors and includes free entry into any of the daily seminars.
