Honeywell presence in Japan gets new boost

Honeywell Japan has opened a new service office in Izumi-Ohtsu, one of Japan's major petrochemical industrial complex regions.
The new office is aimed at providing industrial automation and control solutions to the Osaka, Sakai and Wakayama areas.
"The establishment of a formal presence in Osaka is a testament of our long-term commitment and growth roadmap for Japan," said Simon Park, regional general manager of Honeywell Process Solutions, North Asia.
"As the second largest world economy, Japan is a strategic market for Honeywell and we have much to offer in terms of our global capabilities and technological expertise. Coupled with the strength of our local insight, we are confident we will provide our Japanese customers the right solutions to maximize their business performance and profitability."
