Schuco set to open installer training centre
by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer on Wednesday, 28 November 2007
German façade manufacturer Schuco is to open a UAE-based installers' training centre in January next year.
To be located in Ajman, the centre will provide training for installers and fabricators on the optimal use of the firm's products.
"We provide a warranty to fabricators on our products, but if they don't make or install them properly they may fail, so we are opening this training centre to provide a service to them," said Schuco technical manager Sam Brooks.
The training will be in addition to the firm's current quality control procedures, which include checking and commissioning of installations, assured Brooks.
Schuco is highlighting the options to save and generate energy in building construction at this year's Big 5 exhibition.
The firm is displaying a range of products at the event, including its latest photovoltaic (pv) panels and façade systems.
