Irish billing solutions company Tango Telecom has opened an office in Dubai to strengthen its operations in the MEA region and India.

The office will supply pre-sales and support to the company's regional clients including several network operators such as Zain Group and Qtel. Malik Al Jack, a seasoned veteran of the MEA telco industry, will head up the company's operations in the region.

Richard Choi, vice president of sales and marketing at Tango Telecom, said the move follows an increase in demand for mobile data services in the Middle East telecommunications market.
