Mammut wins contract for Waterfront

Nakheel has awarded the first building contract for homes at Dubai Waterfront to the Mammut Group.

The contract, which will result in the creation of the first apartments and duplexes at the development, is due for completion in 2009.

Dubai Waterfront is the world's largest waterside development on the shores of Dubai and is the result of more than four years of research and feasibility studies.

Dubai Waterfront will transform an area of empty desert into a bustling community with an estimated population of 1.7 million by 2020.
