RECORD GROWTH: Dubai Duty Free sales hit $880 million in 2007.

Dubai Duty Free said on Wednesday revenues grew 24% in 2007 to a record 3.18 billion dirhams ($880 million), led by sales in the last two months of the year.

Revenues for November and December hit consecutive monthly records of 310 million dirhams and 360 million dirhams respectively, Dubai Duty Free said.

December's sales were boosted by the 24th anniversary of Dubai Duty Free on December 20, for which customers were offered a 24% discount on a range of products. Sales on the day topped 46 million dirhams.
