Hill wins two UAE deals

Construction consulting firm Hill International has won two project management contracts in the UAE, worth around US $10.1 million (AED 37 million).
The company was awarded a contract from property developer, Escape, to provide project management services during the construction of The Escape, a residential community in Ajman.
The $490 million project covers an area of 77,000m2.
The three-year contract has an estimated value of $3.7 million.
Construction on The Escape is scheduled to begin in March and has been earmarked for completion by December 2010.
Hill International also received a five-year contract from the Al Ain Municipality to provide project management services for a $163 million irrigation plan.
The contract has an estimated value of $6.4 million.
Construction is expected to begin in January 2009.
Completion of the project is expected by January 2013.
Hill International has won a number of contracts in the region in the last year, including the project management contract awarded by Tameer Holding for the $1.6 billion Tameer Towers project in the Shams Abu Dhabi district of Reem Island.
