Britain's heir to the throne Prince Charles today spoke to delegates at a green energy conference in Abu Dhabi today.
But he did not appear in person. Instead, he made his presentation as a three-dimensional hologram.
Prince Charles is a passionate advocate for environmental issues, but has been criticised for racking up thousands of air miles in pursuit of his cause.
A recent trip to Philadelphia to honour US-environmental campaigner Al Gore reportedly created 20 tons of carbon dioxide as the Prince and his 12 staff made the journey.
The World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi was officially opened by His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
The conference runs for three days, ending on Tuesday.
