The Dubai Police has recognised Computer Network Systems (CNS), an infrastructure system integrator, as one of 2007's strategic Sales and Support Partners for its role in shoring up the department's IT infrastructure.
The Appreciation Award was given to CNS by Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Dubai Police Commander-In-Chief, during the second annual partner gathering at Dubai Police Club. The award was received by Billy O'Riordan, sales director of CNS and Rami Amin, sales manager of storage and server unit at CNS.
Over the last few years, Dubai Police has implemented a state-of-the-art technology infrastructure and has been upgrading its systems for their day-to-day operations.
They have selected CNS, among other IT companies in the UAE, as the IT maintenance contractor for the department. CNS has been working on infrastructure projects as well as supporting security solutions at Dubai Police.
"We view this award as recognition of our commitment to continuously improve the technological capabilities of Dubai Police and bring it at par with the best in the world," said O'Riordan.
"An organisation of the stature of Dubai Police should entrust us with the implementation and maintenance of critical solutions. This is a credible pointer to both CNS' technological expertise and market reputation. We look forward to continuing our strategic partnership with Dubai Police in the months and years to come," O'Riordan added.
