New SASSCO sales and service centre for KSA

A joint company formed by GE Sensing and the Tamimi Group, Saudi Arabian Sensing Solutions Co (SASSCO), has opened a new sales, service and training centre in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

The new facility will form the sales hub for the company's activities in Saudi Arabia. It also establishes a dedicated calibration, repair and training centre, offering calibration equipment for pressure and moisture sensors, and is the only resource in the region capable of calibrating the Panametrics range of moisture meters.

The centre can provide on-site repair service for these products and can upgrade existing customer equipment by the fitting of specific manufacturer's software.

"The industrial infra-structure of Saudi Arabia relies very heavily on sensing instrumentation for pressure, temperature, moisture, gas and flow," said Mohannad Labadi, general manager SASSCO. "It also depends on non-destructive testing to provide safe asset management and maintain production outputs."
