National Fire Fighting Manufacturing Company, NAFFCO, a provider of fire protection solutions to a variety of industries including oil and gas, recently announced its plans for a one-million-square-foot expansion of its Jebel Ali factories.
The expansion comes in light of the company's commitment to advance the visions of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, as well as the second anniversary of his accession.
"His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum's vision has been instrumental in providing national companies a plethora of motives to strongly participate in the advancement of Dubai. We are honored to be a productive part of these efforts," said Khalid Al Khatib, CEO of NAFFCO.
"On the occasion of HH Sheikh Mohammed's accession anniversary, it is a great pleasure for us to dedicate this expansion as a practical message of congratulations to the patron," he added.
The expansion is estimated to increase NAFFCO's market share in the local safety and fire fighting market to 60%, a significant increase from its current 40% share.
"This huge expansion of our Jebel Ali factories is a necessary investment to meet the increasingly growing demand of NAFFCO's fire fighting products in local and foreign markets", said Al Khatib.
