Big brand bonanza

by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer on Wednesday, 06 February 2008

As the biggest selling brand in the Middle East, it is not surprising that Azimut Yachts, distributed by ART Marine, would be the yacht of choice for many brand associations, but a recent residential development seems to have taken that association one step forward.

Billed as the world's tallest residential tower, the Pentominium by Trident Holdings is set just back from the East side of Dubai Marina, within walking distance of East Marina and Media City.

But it isn't its placement that really captures our attention. It's the luxury appointment the concept will evolve into.

Rising 516 metres, it will top the Taipai 101 tower and plans to offer a complete living environment in one building - from business centres and cigar lounges to luxury shopping, sky gardens, a private theatre and the ubiquitous sports facilities.

Designed by HBA, the whole building is made up of penthouse apartments and luxurious large public areas. Harking back to the grandeur of Period hotels, lobbies and lift areas in particular are made features of the building.

But, as mentioned before, it is the strategic alliances with companies such as Tiffany, Quintessentially, Rolls-Royce and Azimut Yachts that draws particular interest, making exclusive experiences available to Pentominium residents.

For not only will public areas and penthouses benefit from full Swarovski and Bang & Olufsen influences, but a shared ownership scheme will allow use of a luxury Azimut Yacht for on-the-water entertainment. The exact model has not yet been released, but it's bound to be over 60 feet, to stay in keeping with the Pentominium experience.
