Trapeze signs UAE Distie
by Julian Pletts on Monday, 11 February 2008
Beta IT has been named as a value-added reseller for Trapeze Networks in the UAE, in the vendor's latest move to boost its channel coverage across the Emirates. The mobile wireless provider inked the agreement with Beta IT - which has previously partnered Trapeze on other UAE-based projects - to cover integration of its solutions with networking, security and management applications to develop end-to-end IT systems.
"Partnership agreements are an integral part of our expansion efforts in the region, as they enable our future partners to improve their own product lines and services through our award-winning wireless local area network solutions," said Feras Zeidan, Middle East and Africa regional manager at Trapeze.
Mohd Elayyan, business development manager at Beta IT says that this agreement is a strategic move that reaffirms his company's commitment to providing unique IT solutions from a range of vendors. "We are excited to promote the increased system performance made possible by Trapeze's technologies to our clients," added Elayyan.
This announcement is the latest in a series of advances by Trapeze to increase its coverage in the Middle East. In October last year the company signed up Gulf Gaihib International as its new distributor in the Saudi Arabia, describing the partnership at the time as crucial in the realisation of its regional expansion plans.
