The 209-suite Tamani Hotel Marina stands 55-storeys tall near The Palm Jumeirah.

The 209-suite Tamani Hotel Marina was opened this week in Dubai, with the property one the first to open from Islamic operator Tamani Hotels and Resort.

Featuring two-, three-, and four-bedroom suites, the property includes a dedicated ladies floor, specially designed for ladies and serviced by female hotel staff, and two swimming pools.

Published rates for the property start at AED 4000 (US $1089) for the two-bedroom suites, and AED 12,000 ($3267) for the four-bedroom penthouses.

The hotel's management company is a subsidiary of KM Holding.

Tamani Hotels and Resorts chairman and KM Holding director Khulood Abdulla Al Rostamani said the company stood by its brand proposition of adding value without necessarily opting to sell alcohol.

"Part of our brand value revolves around our vision to promote Islamic and Middle Eastern arts," she said.

"The Tamani Hotel Marina will exemplify this brand promise in showcasing exclusive and unique artworks."

Tamani Hotels and Resorts chief executive Alain Guernier said the company had committed to opening 15 hotels in the next five years. Further details of other projects would be announced during the Arabian Travel Market in May, he added.
