by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer  on Saturday, 01 March 2008

South Korean contractor Sungwon Corporation has won a contract worth US $82 million (AED 300 million) to build The Cube, a 26-storey hotel apartment building in Dubai Sports City.

The client is German developer BMG Middle East Development.

It marks the second big win in a week for the South Korean construction company, following its securing of the contract to build the Silver Star Tower, a $108 million office tower for Germany's Trend Capital in Business Bay.
