Al Islami announced plans today to expand its Meat Shop network across the UAE in collaboration with Union Cooperative Society, starting with first meat shop at Union Coop's Al-Wasl road branch in Dubai.

"In line with Al Islami's consolidated strategy to position Dubai as a standard in frozen meat market segment in the Middle East, we have accelerated our efforts to provide our consumers with high quality meat at the retail level", said Saleh Abdullah Lootah, CEO, Al Islami Foods.

"It has been a persistent demand from our consumers to provide them with fresh and credibly healthy meat, which has encouraged us to set up meat shops at their doorsteps. The consumers can now buy with confidence the real Halal, fresh and nutrient meat from Al Islami outlets in the major emirates of the UAE."
