Hotel showcasing Islamic and Middle Eastern art.
The Tamani Hotel Marina, the UAE's first hotelier to promote Arabic hospitality and Islamic values, has opened in Dubai.
The 55-storey tower is the first and tallest all-suites hotel in Dubai Marina and features 209 rooms. The interior design was carried out by the hotel's design unit, Tamani Arts and Design Team.
Speaking about the style of the hotel, Angela Wiethoff, head of Tamani Arts and Design Team said: "The hotel is designed in a modernism style but with deep inspiration from Middle Eastern and Arabic culture. Part of the brand value revolves around a vision to promote Islamic Art."
Guestrooms feature pieces of original art ranging from paintings to elaborately carved pieces of furniture. Public spaces such as the lobby and floor walkways also showcase artistic talent.
"Much of what you will see in Tamani Hotel Marina is artwork that is commissioned exclusively for the hotel. This includes the amenities and furnishings in the suites and public areas," added Wiethoff.
Tamani Hotels and Resorts is also in the process of creating a club where artists working on the theme of Islamic and Middle Eastern Arts can come together to network and receive support and funding.
The hotel provides guests with choices of two, three and four bedroom suites with views of the Palm Jumeirah, Marina and Dubai skyline.
A ladies floor is designed with amenities for ladies and serviced by female hotel associates. Leisure amenities include a health and fitness club and two swimming pools, indoor and outdoor, which overlook the Palm.
