Restless Planet back on track

by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer on Thursday, 06 March 2008

Development of the dinosaur-themed Restless Planet theme park at City of Arabia in Dubailand is back underway this month after a two-year delay.

The project was put on hold because of issues with the infrastructure, according to Jack Rouse Associates president Keith James.

He revealed that most of the dinosaurs are finished in Tokyo and that ride supplies are in storage in Germany.

Restless Planet has now set an opening target of October 2010.

James added, however, that the theme park will not open until the Mall of Arabia - to which it is attached - is ready for operation too.
