Google has launched an Arabic-language version of the Business Pages feature of its AdWords service. The feature allows small and medium sized businesses in the region to advertise online, without the need to first set up a website.
After signing up to Google’s AdWords Starter Edition advertising platform, businesses now have the option of creating a small ‘lander’ page for their company that Google’s AdWords advertising will redirect to. This lander page can contain a description of the business, contact details, opening hours, images and more, and will be hosted by Google.
Yasmina Brihi, Marketing Manager, MENA said: “One of Google's highest priorities is making online marketing available to all businesses. Too many small and medium sized businesses do not have a website and cannot advertise on the Internet.
“They can use AdWords Business Pages to try online advertising without the cost of putting up their own website. AdWords Business Pages offer these businesses a solution to broaden their customer base and potentially increase revenue through an online presence.”
