Mobile hardware manufacturer BenQ today announced the regional launch of its dual-screen Joybook Q41, which is now widely available in retailers across the UAE, KSA, Qatar and Egypt starting from AED 3499 ($953).

Making use of Microsoft’s SideShow auxiliary display technology, the Joybook allows users to access many features via the 2.5 inch screen on the back of the laptop’s main screen without booting up the device.

These features include Skype, Powerpoint, email, games and calendar appointments, as well as image and music browsers. The 2.5 inch screen and its operation keys are mounted on a shiny strip which BenQ claim was inspired by the glass curtain walls of skyscrapers.
