The Middle East charter market has grown at 23% per annum over the past two years and is now estimated to be worth around US $500 million annually.

The International Air Transport Association predicts that the Middle East will be the fastest growing region for international traffic over the next few years, with increases expected to be around 7% annually - well ahead of the world average of 4.8%.

Luxury Air Travel by Dnata manager Leigh Cowderoy commented: "There is significant demand in the marketplace for private jet charters. It is a truly aspirational concept, yet attainable for a growing number of customers - customers who appreciate the privacy, convenience and luxury of travelling this way.

"When this desire is coupled with Dnata's reputation for reliability, quality and luxury, we are confident that demand for [such services] will continue to climb".
