Food hygiene award for Hyatt

by Lucy Taylor on Monday, 24 March 2008

Following five successful years in operation, Grand Hyatt Dubai has been recognised by Dubai Municipality for its exceptional efforts in customer care and food hygiene.

The property was awarded a Customer Honor Award from the Public Health Department of Dubai Municipality, which awards limited certificates to food and beverage outlets throughout the city in order to recognise exceptional standards in the handling, storage and preparation of food.

The property's executive chef Josef Miklavc, who picked up the certificate on behalf of Grand Hyatt Dubai, said: "I am very proud to accept this award. It is a privilege to be noticed by Dubai Municipality for our constant hard work in keeping with the high hygiene standards within Grand Hyatt Dubai and the city itself, and we feel honoured".
