FSC boss Stephane Rejasse seals the distribution partnership with VO Sebastian

PC vendor Fujitsu Siemens has moved to address the parts of the SMB market that have so far eluded its reach by appointing Distributech FZCO as its new partner in the UAE.

Distributech, which belongs to 1,500-strong UAE trading group Al Abbas, will carry FSC's portfolio of hardware solutions, which includes desktop PCs, laptops and servers.

Stephane Rejasse, managing director at Fujitsu Siemens Middle East, admits that while the company has been making "considerable" progress in the region's enterprise sector, it still has more work to do to address the region's burgeoning SMB segment.

"Smaller and medium businesses can be even more performance- and cost-conscious about deploying efficient hardware solutions that help run their growing organisations more effectively, which is a key reason that we are partnering with Distributech to address opportunities in the SMB sector," explained Rejasse.

Along with Abba Electronics and E-nnovations LLC, Jebel Ali-based Distributech is one of several technology-related businesses operated by the Al Abbas Group. It is confident the tie-up with FSC will enhance its position in the UAE distribution channel.

"This distribution agreement with Fujitsu Siemens underlines the market credibility that Distributech FZCO has come to command in the region," said VO Sebastian, managing director, Al Abbas Group. "We will fully utilise our market expertise, network of certified professionals, and regional understanding to ensure an increase in market share for Fujitsu Siemens Computers' server and PC solutions."
