Three-year deal for interior design awards

Al Aqili Furnishings has announced that it will sponsor the Commercial Interior Design (CID) awards for the next three years.

"Following our support of the first Commercial Interior Design Awards in 2007, Al Aqili Furnishings is very happy and honoured to be able to extend our platinum and presenting sponsorship for the next 3 years up to 2010," said Shahriar Khodjasteh, marketing director for Al Aqili Furnishings.

"The designers, architects and other professionals that make up this industry are our key clients and we feel very proud that we are able to support an event which celebrates their work. We look forward to supporting them for many years to come!"

The awards will honour the firms and projects that continue to put the Gulf on the global design map, with up to a dozen different categories open for entries.

This year's event will take place in December.
