New Habanos franchise set to open

The new Habanos outlet will include a cigar lounge and boutique.

Baqer Mohebi Establishment has announced it is to launch the seventh Cuban franchise La Casa Del Habano in Dubai.

The company, which is the sole marketing and distribution arm of Habanos in the UAE, Oman and Iran, will hold the official inauguration of the store on May 8.

The new store will be located at The Walk within Jumeirah Beach Residence at Dubai Marina and will be the biggest of its kind in the world, according to Baqer Mohebi spokesperson Prithi Sequeira in a prepared statement.

"Compromising of two levels - a 170m² cigar lounge on the main ground level and 140m² Habanos boutique on the mezzanine level - [the outlet] will offer the widest range of Habanos products and accessories of the highest quality to Habanos connoisseurs in the country."

The lounge would offer an exclusive light snack with soft beverage menu to compliment the Habanos assortment explained Sequeira. A unique VIP room, which could be booked in advance for private functions and could accommodate groups of up to four people, would also be available, she added.
