Three’s a magic number

Working Buildings Middle East now has two sister shows: Fit-Out Middle East and Gulf Landscaping.

CMPi, organisers of Working Buildings Middle East, showed its commitment to the FM industry with the sponsorship of three facilities management Middle East Awards.

Working Buildings Middle East exhibition, now in its second year, has secured sponsorship for the Facilities Manager of the Year Award, while new shows Fit-Out Middle East and Gulf Landscaping have locked down Functional Fit-out and Landscaping Contractor of the Year Awards.

"CMP has been involved in and supportive of the facilities management industry for many years. The facilities management Middle East Awards are an ideal opportunity for us to present what we are doing and or course to have a good time with our friends in the industry," said Chris Fountain, group director, CMPi UAE.

The three shows will run alongside each other at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) this November.

Working Buildings Middle East made its debut appearance in December last year. The decision for it to sponsor Facilities Manager of the Year came from the shows commitment to the industry.

"By recognising the Facilities Manager of the Year, we hope to continue to support the development of the industry and firmly establish Working Buildings Middle East as its annual meeting point," added Fountain.

In addition to the sponsorship, CMPi also published an in-depth report into the state of the Middle Eastern FM market at last year's exhibition, heightening its dedication to the industry.

New comers Fit-Out Middle East and Gulf Landscaping aim to assist Working Buildings Middle East in providing a complete platform for anything FM.

"We have sponsored the Functional Fit-Out Awards as we are keen to recognise excellence in this rapidly developing market. Landscaping and outdoor design contribute significantly to the appeal of buildings, cities and public areas.

The Landscaping Contractor of the Year Award deservedly marks the contribution made by these professionals to the development of the region as an attractive and desired area," Fountain explained.
