Big names, great stories

by Diana Milne on Sunday, 11 May 2008

There is nothing that CEOs like doing more than reading about other CEOs. That's why this month, to kick off the new look CEO Middle East, we bring you some of the biggest names in world business - all speaking exclusively to us.

Top of the bill is not just one Trump but four. Donald and family were in Abu Dhabi last month, and we managed to catch up with them for a chat. Soon after, we joined the global CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi for a conversation about the quality of advertising in the region.

What he says is bound to stir the debate, and I suspect, put a few noses out of joint.

Not to mention fascinating interviews with GIO boss Rashid Galadari and Air Arabia founder Adel Ali - two of the most impressive businessmen I have come across in the region. Rounding off our selection of big names, Piers Morgan and Mishal Kanoo join us as regular columnists.

Also as part of the revamp, we have introduced dedicated sections on books, leadership, gadgets and even a regular peek into a CEO's company headquarters - beginning this month with the very entertaining Thomas Lundgren.

Watch out for a riveting no-holds barred interview with Lundgren next month, alongside exclusive chats with Etihad boss James Hogan and one of the region's biggest media players, Elie Khouri, responding to Kevin Roberts.

I very much hope you enjoy the new look of the magazine as much as I have enjoyed putting it together. As always I welcome your feedback on the issue.

Diana Milne is the group editor of ITP Executive magazines.
