St Regis Saadiyat Island will offer eight themed restaurants, three lounges and an all-day-dining outlet.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts' St Regis brand will offer diners eight themed restaurants as well as an all-day-dining outlet, three lounges and more than 2800m² of meeting and conference space when it opens in the UAE at the end of next year.

The five-star St Regis Hotel & Residences Saadiyat Island will be located on the 27km² island 500m off the Abu Dhabi shoreline and will be built and owned by Abu Dhabi's Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC.

Conceptualised by Creative Kingdom as a Mediterranean-style coastal retreat reminiscent of California's St Regis Monarch Bay, the US $600 million property has been designed by Australia's Woods Bagot, with interiors by Atlanta's Hirsch Bedner Associates and Dubai's Mirage Mille as project managers.

"Saadiyat, with its unrivalled dimension of luxury and bespoke service, will live up to the mounting expectations of this signature island."

In addition to the food and beverage offerings, the hotel will have 380 luxurious guest rooms and suites. Adjoining the hotel will be a separate St Regis-branded residence with 280 apartments of one-, two- and three-bedrooms.
