Foundry Networks takes Best of Interop Green Award

Foundry Networks has been awarded the Best of Interop Green Award, in recognition of the environmentally friendly credentials of its key lines.
The award, which was chosen by IT publisher InformationWeek, selected Foundry from 200 other submissions for the Best of Interop awards, which are presented at the Interop business technology show which took place last week.
"The 2008 winner of the Best of Interop Green Award, Foundry Networks, has adopted an eco-friendly approach to their products. We congratulate Foundry Networks for leading the way in green computing," said Art Wittmann, editor, InformationWeek.
Foundry switches, routers and application delivery controller products were recognized for their ability to deliver performance while minimizing power, space and cooling consumption.
Bobby Johnson, president and chief executive of Foundry Networks said: "We are honoured to take home the Best of Interop Green Award.
