Regional real estate company Bonyan International Investment Group is seeking a landscape designer for its Eye of Ajman development.
"We are now collecting bids for the landscape contract. We expect to appoint the landscape designer by late May," Bassam Fino, chief commercial officer, Bonyan International Investment Group, told Commercial Outdoor Design at Cityscape Abu Dhabi this week.
The landscape contract will have a value of approximately US$408.96 million, he said.
Bonyan unveiled its plans to develop the US$954.24 million mixed-use project last month.
Located along Emirates road, the project will spread over 6.27 million square feet and will have 109 multi-purpose plots.
Called the Eye of Ajman, because of its form replicating the human eye, the land has been designed so that each plot will have ‘stunning lakes and garden views', the company said in a statement.
"The theme of project is the human eye. The eye is the most precious organ in the human being. We hope [the development] will act as the eye of Ajman," Fino explained.
Work on the development is set to start early June, and to be complete by April 2010.
