Rezidor Hotel Group has announced it will open the 427-room Radisson Hotel Cairo Heliopolis at the end of this year.
The property is part of the new Heliopolis development emerging next to the Cairo International Airport, which includes residential and commercial elements.
Rezidor president and chief executive Kurt Ritter said the property was the company's sixth in Egypt.
"[This hotel] brings our portfolio in the country to almost 2000 rooms," he said.
The hotel is set to feature an all day dining restaurant and lobby bar, and a Radisson signature restaurant with contemporary Italian menus. It will also have meeting facilities, a swimming pool and health club, and an exclusive executive and crew lounge.
Nearby tourism attractions include the Giza pyramid complex, and the Great Sphinx.
