Grand Hyatt Amman gets new executive assistant F&B manager

The Grand Hyatt Amman has a new executive assistant manager — F&B.

The Grand Hyatt Amman has announced the promotion of Harun Dursun to the position of executive assistant manager - food and beverage.

Dursun has held his current position as director of F&B for Grand Hyatt Amman since July 2006.

Dursun is a graduate in Hotel and Tourism Management from Cukurova University in Turkey and holds a Master's degree in hospitality management from the University of Strathclyde in the UK.

He began his career with Hyatt International in 1998, when he was an outlet manager at Hyatt Regency Istanbul.

In addition to his broad international experience in food and beverage, Dursun became Turkey's first official sommelier in 2000 and went on to be a semi-finalist in the most prestigious sommelier competition in Europe, held in Reims, France.
