by ArabianBusiness.com staff writer on Saturday, 24 May 2008
Emaar Bawadi, the joint venture between Emaar Properties and Bawadi, has launched Teema, the first residential community in Asmaran, a 6.5 million m² master-planned project being developed in Bawadi.
Teema will feature 308 townhouses and a central retail and community centre.
Project and contract details have not yet been finalised.
Asmaran will include green landscaping and walkways, and will be close to several community amenities.
With Spanish architectural features, the homes range from 165m² to 260m² on plots sized from 204m² to 464m².
Arif Mubarak, CEO of Bawadi, said: "Teema is the first to be developed within Asmaran, which will eventually have over 55,000 residents and 19,000 homes."
