Regional IT distributor Mindware is riding high after receiving Symantec's ‘Total Solutions Distributor 2008' award.

The security software vendor named its distribution partner as best in field at the recently concluded Symantec Middle East Partner Summit claiming that the award was in recognition of Mindware's regional distribution strategy and wide-ranging value added distribution.

"This award is a testament to our expertise and widespread partner network, which has made us a valuable partner for Symantec," said Shadi Tahan, Symantec product manager at Mindware.

"In the coming years, we can expect further growth in security and availability requirements in the region to support the intensifying need for data protection and information theft risk," he added.

Tahan also revealed that Mindware has the target of 20% growth in its sights for 2008 and hopes to achieve this by continuing to make technologies more accessible to regional clients.
