As part of its commitment to retaining and developing its staff, Fitness First - which runs 12 health clubs in the Middle East and more than 500 worldwide - is launching an annual Global Business Academy (GBA), developed for managers who are passionate about career progression within the organisation.
Fitness First Group CEO Colin Waggett said: "The commitment and dedication of our staff is essential to the overall success of Fitness First and in return it's important that the group invests in growing and retaining these individuals.
The four-day programme is targeted at senior managers who report to executive level. Designed to assess current skill levels and sharpen commercial acumen and business skills, the event will also provide each delegate with a personal plan of action to help them fulfil their professional goals on return to work.
The course includes sessions from Fitness First senior executives, as well as lecturers from the IESE Business School in Barcelona, where the course will be held in November.
