A man was sentenced to 10 years in jail for his part in last year’s $4 million armed robbery of a jewellery store in Dubai’s Wafi City shopping mall.
The 33 year-old Serb national identified only as “N.M.”, was sentenced to 10 years in jail after he was named as an accomplice, Gulf News reported, citing the Dubai Court of First Instance.
The Public Prosecution charged N.M. with aiding and abetting a number of unidentified robbers who stole two cars and drove into the Wafi City in April 2007, bringing down the jewellery shop's glass front by crashing the car into it, Gulf News said.
