City University starts new MSc

London's City University is running an MSc degree in Aircraft Maintenance Management in collaboration with A J Walter Aviation Middle East.

The aviation supply and repairs company is offering a Bursary scheme for a Middle East student starting the course this year. The MSc has been designed to enhance the career opportunities of aviation industry professionals and covers technical, regulatory, financial and operational aspects within the civil and military aviation industry.

Christopher Whiteside, managing director of AJ Walter, said the course will benefit experienced professionals by improving knowledge in complex areas. "By working with City University, London, to provide this professional qualification for industry colleagues we believe we are contributing effectively to ensuring that out industry is prepared to meet challenges that the next 75 years will bring."
