Agility, the Middle East’s biggest logistics provider, has secured a transportation contract with the US military that could earn the Kuwait-based company as much as $200 million over the next 12 months.
Agility Defense & Government Services (DGS) on Thursday announced that it has been awarded a third successive one-year contract on the US Army's Heavy Lift VI contract. Under the new contract, Agility will continue to provide transportation services for military personnel and supplies.
The extension was awarded by the US Army Sustainment Command DCMA and continues Agility’s engagement for Heavy Lift VI through June 30, 2009.

The US Army may also at its discretion request Agility to undertake additional work if the maximum value of the contract is exceeded.
