Oman Air adds 10th Indian destination

National carrier Oman Air is starting flights to the Indian city of Bangalore, its 10th destination in India, an airline official said on Saturday.
"India is our most profitable route since we have a large contingent of Indian expatriates in Oman," Abdulrazzaq Al Raisi, the airline's senior sales manager, told newswire Reuters. There will be five flights per week to Bangalore.
On Thursday, Dubai-based airline Emirates said it would add 18 flights per week beginning in July to three of its current Indian destinations, including Bangalore. (Reuters)
