Arabian Computer News has launched a new regional survey to analyse the latest trends in enterprise IT projects throughout the Middle East.
The survey, which is online at www.itp.net/acnsurvey and will run until September, will also gauge the confidence of both businesses and IT professionals in being able to deliver on their objectives.
"Middle East businesses are currently at a critical point, and have potentially very strong growth opportunities - but are also facing serious risks from the global economic situation, as well as regional issues such as currency pressure and a lack of skilled labour. This survey aims to reveal what the region's enterprise IT departments are implementing, and how their decision-makers feel about the current outlook," said ACN Editor Eliot Beer.
This latest project follows on from ACN's recent Saudi Arabia survey, which uncovered a strong desire for up-and-coming technologies in the kingdom, as well as strong growth in both turnover and IT budgets.
Results from the survey will be announced in October, ahead of GITEX Technology Week.
