Temix targets Middle East through Getronics

Communications systems manufacturer Temix has signed a distribution agreement with Getronics ME to cover the Middle East and North Africa region.

Armando Caravella, general manager at Temix - which focuses on wireless communications systems including its WiMAX range of portable terminals for satellite communications and wireless sensor networks - says that the move is designed to consolidate its presence across the region.

"We are reinforcing our commitment in the Middle East and North Africa by partnering with Getronics ME," said Caravella. "Getronic's historical presence in the territory, competence and professionalism in addition to its customer centric strategy are the reasons that today we are seeking common aims, in line with our expansion plans in the market," he added.

It services specialist Getronics - which has a presence in eighteen countries worldwide - claims the partnership will allow it to meet the specific needs of a "new and exciting" user segments in the Middle East market.

"In a time of great technological convergence, innovation and quality solutions, Temix will allow us to integrate the enormous potential offered by modern communications systems, wireless and satellite offering our customers advanced ICT solutions," said Said Khoubbach, regional manager at Getronics.
