Alpha Data installs intelligent lighting systems in Abu Dhabi University

The design, planning and installation of the technology required in the auditorium was carried-out by Alpha Data, the UAE's leading systems integrator.

The intelligent lighting system was designed to reduce energy consumption, keeping in-line with the region's growing focus on environmentally friendly technology.

In addition to the lighting, the acoustics of the auditorium were designed by Alpha Data's team.

Dr. Nabil Ibrahim, ADU chancellor said Alpha Data was chosen for its professionalism and proven business dealings with ADU.

"Our previous experience with Alpha Data was the major reason they were appointed. Alpha Data had worked with us before installing a video conferencing and projection system in our campus. The experience they offered in integrating different solutions impressed us; Alpha Data has always offered the best-of-breed technologies," Ibrahim said.

Fadi Ramadan, head of Audio Visual and Security Solutions, Alpha Data, said he was delighted to be working with ADU again.

"Our design team worked closely with our manufacturing partners; Sanyo, Martin and Draper, to deliver the most comprehensive solution of audio and visual integrated solutions for the university's auditorium and we are immensely proud of the results."
