The Trump Organisation, headed by property tycoon Donald Trump, is seeking partners to develop real estate projects in Manhattan, a company advisor said on Sunday.

“We are looking for firms in Dubai interested in developing projects in Manhattan and investors from Dubai looking to acquire standing inventory there,” said Rodrigo Nino, president of Prodigy International, advisors to the Trump Organisation.

Nino was speaking at the Dubai sales launch of the Trump Soho hotel condominium in New York.

Units in the $800 million project went on sale last September, but so far only 50 percent of the project has been sold.

The hotel, situated in downtown Manhattan’s Soho neighbourhood, is scheduled to open in summer of 2009 and will offer 400 units.
